1999

NetWeaver begins

Whilst at university in Manchester, two friends, John & Phil, decide to start a business – netweaver.co.uk is registered and they get to work.

2001

NetWeaver Launched

On 27th February 2001 we formed NetWeaver.com Limited and launched an affordable web hosting company for small and medium sized businesses.

2006

A sad loss

In July 2006, we lost our co-founder to cancer. A sad day for NetWeaver and still missed today.

2013

Goodbye WebCentre

Our pioneering, in-house developed control panel – WebCentre – served us for over 10 years. This was phased out to allow us to add more features going forward.

2014

New Directors

A lot has changed in recent years with the addition of Dec, as customer director and Jake as financial director.

These fresh faces bring passion and hard work to continue our drive to be the very best hosting company for small businesses in the UK.

2019

18th Birthday

This year we celebrated our 18th year of web hosting.

2022

New infrastructure in Manchester

Following months of planning and large investments into our infrastructure, NetWeaver’s core network is now located in Manchester. The latest enterprise NVMe storage, Intel Xeon processors, and 10GBit networking throughout.
